FBI no longer interested in 2-3 mystery men

After the alleged Barbados sighting of “Amy,” the FBI added sketches of 2 unidentified men to Amy’s missing poster. Although the poster mentions 2 men, there are actually sketches of 3 different men. According to the family’s website, the sketches of these men were on the FBI poster for close to 10 years.

Here is Amy’s FBI poster from February 2012:

Mysteriously, the sketches of these 3 men (& the sketch of the woman resembling Amy) have since been removed from Amy’s FBI poster.

What does it mean? Does the FBI no longer find the Barbados sighting credible? Did the FBI track down these people and the Amy lookalike and determine it was a false lead? Did the FBI originally think Amy was kidnapped/trafficked & then change their mind? Did they think someone who looked like Amy was being trafficked? And more importantly, why are they no longer interested in locating these individuals? 🧐
