Exchange Programs for High Schoolers in India

Hey everyone,

I am a 14-year-old US citizen living in India in 10th grade and I am exploring exchange programs outside the US. Most of the big ones like AFS and YES will not let me apply because I am a US citizen.

I have also looked into Rotary Youth Exchange, but I know the local clubs in Chennai are not very well funded. I am still open to suggestions there in case anyone has insights.

I cannot spend thousands of dollars, so I am mainly looking for programs that accept applicants from any country, offer full funding or scholarships, and work for younger teens like me.

I am especially interested in Europe, North Africa, or South America. Programs with short-term flights included or longer stays with host families would be ideal.

If anyone knows of programs like this or smaller initiatives that are not extremely competitive, I would love to hear about them.
