LG freezer Ice Maker leaking out the back of the fridge
I have a LG fridge (fridge top, freezer bottom) with an ice maker in the freezer (LRDCS2603S /00). We had seen an issue for a bit where the ice started clumping together more after we moved into a new house (took our fridge with us). Regularly stirring and using the ice seemed to mitigate the issue.
Until recently when our ice maker stopped working all together. It will still pull water (can hear it) but no water fills up the ice maker (I have shut off the ice maker & water line). I noticed a little water behind the fridge and pulled it out to see what looks like the piece where the water line goes into the ice maker from the water filter leaking water (https://imgur.com/a/s7DkQ9q).
I'd like to try tackling this but not sure where to start. I've seen people say the water line can freeze over inside the freezer and to thaw it. But if water is leaking out the back of the fridge, is the part/seal there broken and needs replacing?
Any help would be appreciated!
