Vegas needs to come back to earth

Las Vegas is no longer somewhere the average person can visit with any regularity. The prices are just too high. Especially for a drink at most places if you aren’t gambling. I get it. They are in it to make money and I completely support capitalism. I also understand that they have a lot of unions to deal with to get their workers a decent livable wage. But, something has to give. I would think they would rather have someone visit every year or every other year rather than every 3-4 the way prices are. After paying for food and drink, the gambling money is almost gone…….not to mention any sight seeing tours. Now that they have about every professional sports team, there is no longer an “off season” so to speak. They are able to and do command top dollar for everything there plus the resort fees! Flights are high and show tickets have crept up as well. With the availability of online gambling, Vegas needs to do better and make me want to come there instead of throwing a hundred or two in Fanduel a couple times a month. Again, I completely understand their mission to make money but there has to be a way to meet us in the middle and still make some bank.

We make a very good living as well but a Vegas trip would eat into travel budget for the family because of the prices.
