Internship situation

Question/Help سؤال/مساعدة

I’ve been working as an accounting clerk intern for almost 2 months now. When I joined, they told me I’d spend about 3 months entering bills, then if I became a full-time employee they’d train me on QuickBooks, and when the company switches to Odoo in the new year, I’d also learn that.

The reality so far is that I’ve only been doing repetitive data entry with no training or guidance beyond that. I’m sometimes asked to enter up to 150 bills a day, which feels overwhelming, and it’s starting to affect my energy and health.

If I get offered a full-time job, the salary would be around 300 JOD. It’s not great, but there aren’t many other opportunities available to me at the moment, so I feel torn. I don’t know whether to stay and hope they follow through on their promises, or leave and look for something else ,even if it means being unemployed for a while. My family and cousins keep telling me to stay ( المهم ما تقعد) I get that , but aren't internships supposed to teach you and in return you help, especially unpaid ones where they fool you by giving you 50 jod transportation allowance, idk. Am I complaining too much?

Has anyone been in a similar situation and what did you do?
