12 weeks pregnant, had a bite of spoiled lobster and now panicking

31F, 150cm, 51kg, non-smoker, 12 weeks pregnant

I had a bite of a steamed lobster that had an alcohol-chemical-like aftertaste suggesting it had gone bad, so I didn’t eat any more of it. The restaurant admitted it was cooked from frozen, even though we assumed it was fresh as it’s a popular restaurant chain in London (Lobster and Burger).

I am 12 weeks pregnant and worried about any food poisoning that might affect the baby. It’s been a couple of hours since I had a bite of the spoiled lobster, and I don’t have any symptoms of food poisoning yet.

How concerned should I be? Should I schedule an appointment with my OB?

Also, anything I can do now to lower the risk of severe food poisoning? I realise this sounds stupid, but I have been trying to eat and drink lots to “dilute” down that spoiled piece of lobster in my stomach. It has been particularly bad on my anxiety, as this is a pregnancy that has been going smoothly so far, after we had a loss earlier this year.

Any response would be much appreciated! Thank you all!
