Ceramic frying pan - cleaning

Hi. Lovely new cream coloured ceramic frying pan has got a black coating at the base of the pan (inside base where the food goes - not external base where it meets the heat). Scouring does not remove. Is there any way at all I can restore it to its original state ? Thanks
