Sudden onset of more digestive issues on top of current digestive problems, is this apart of BAM?
30F, 110 lb 5'9". No drinking, no tobacco, occasional dry herb vape(weed). I have been dx with Raynaud's and bile acid malabsorption. I also have a history of gastrtitis.
I am on 1g cholestipol, and when I was diagnosed with bam it was from symptoms rather than a blood test. I did have a colonoscopy 2 yrs ago to confirm no chrons. I've also had an endoscopy in 2021 and confirmed no celiac. I've been tested multiple times for celiac since 2021, and it's been always negative on the lab.
Recently I've had a sudden onset of more gross, greasy loose stool that's not the same when I have a bam episode. The cholestipol works awesome for the bam but it's like it doesn't work for whatever this is. I'm also eating more, but I eat a low fat diet and am vegetarian so idk why it's also greasy. I take a k + d vitamin everyday to cover any deficiency caused by the cholestipol but it shouldn't be enough to cause this. I bumped my calories from 2000 to about 3000 and I am not seeing any improvement on my weight in the past months either, I'm plateaued at 110 lb. Is this just more bam? I have a non related issue that if it doesn't resolve this week I'm making an appointment with my PCP but I'm worried they're just gonna do another test for freaking celiac and call it a day.
