Creating an account without a canadian phone number

Hello, I am in Canada for one year, and I'd like to register for pc optimum, but the phone number field is limited to 10 digits. My French phone number does not fit, and I cannot seem to create an account without it. If anyone has encountered this problem before, what solution did you find? (It's not worth it for me to get a Canadian phone subscription just for points when I do my groceries.)
