First time taking compounded tirzepatide – did I do this right?

So I took my first shot of compounded tirzepatide yesterday, and it felt a little different compared to what I’m used to with Zepbound.

With Zepbound, they just send you the injector pen with your dosage already set, and you basically push to get the full 100 units for whatever your prescribed dose is. Super simple.

With the compounded version, it’s different. I’m prescribed 5.0 mg, and my vial is labeled 30 mg / 3 mL (10 mg/mL). I had to use a 1 mL insulin syringe this time. Since the math works out to 5 mg = 0.5 mL, that should be 50 units on the syringe.

I went ahead and did that, but I just want to double-check that I did this right:

•	Prescribed 5.0 mg

•	Vial says 30 mg / 3 mL (10 mg/mL)

•	Drew up 0.5 mL = 50 units on the insulin syringe

That should equal my 5.0 mg dose, correct?

Just getting used to this new way of dosing after the convenience of Zepbound pens. Anyone else go through the same adjustment?
