A-10 Afghanistan bug?

For the life of me, I could not get the crew chief to remove the wheel chalks on a cold start for the A-10 CII

Canopy open or closed, didnt matter.

Loaded up the same scenario on Persian Gulf and it removed the chalks no problem.

What am I missing?

Radio was set to 251 and intercom so I know its not that.
