Chances of father getting 50/50 custody or primary - England

Do men ever get primary custody of children? or more days than the mother?

Recently seperated, mum physically has the children currently, she left, not by my choice, took the children.

Going through court proceedings. We were unmarried and the house is in my name. Kids lived here their whole lives (3 and 5) with grandparents on the same street. Ex has just reschooled the children and in between council housing. Likely will move schools several more times in the next year as she relocates. Using the kids/declaring homeless to secure property.

I know the whole process typically takes 9-12 months to conclude. Does their lifelong home being here , with extended family all nearby, original schools, stand for anything? ex has no family in England, has totally isolated the children from the family and currently blocked contact. Is that irrelevant once she gets accomodation and reschools the kids?
