Spoiler Rant

Hi all, I'm relatively new to FAB. So far I've just played riptide and Maxx, and I've loved Maxx so much that I took him to a big event (Yes I lost every match). At the event I got to see all the cool singles that cost way more than I could afford. But my pal suggested me looking up the full-art hyper driver tokens. So I did, and they were very reasonably priced, $6 and less. I was quite excited to get my hands on my first cards that are for style and not just for play. I put three into my TCGPlayer cart. But I told myself I'd wait one day just to make sure I'm okay with spending money on cards for style.

Then the next day, I wake up, the hyper driver tokens were still on my mind, so I wanted to pull the trigger. I went straight to my computer to purchase them. That's when I noted they weren't in my cart anymore. So I looked them up to see what happened. And there I was let down. One TCGPlayer shop bought every hyper driver full-art token and then repriced them on their shop for 600% more. Each driver was placed under $6. This seller put each driver at $30+.

I found out that day, that the Maxx card was spoiled the night before (I didn't see it). And that was the reason for the extreme price hike. Another unfortunate case, was that August 31 was my birthday. That's essentially why I wanted the drivers. To treat myself for my birthday but for the treat to be reasonably priced. I can't justify buying one now, let alone three.

I understand that this is a thing that frequently happens in trading card games, but I just wanted to rant. I think a 600% price hike is insane. Especially for a hero who will still be low-tier even with the new specialization card.

TLDR: Wanted 3 Hyper Driver Full-Art Promos, they were in my cart, Maxx Spec. card was spoiled (I didn't see), the next day the Hyper Drivers were out of my cart, all bought by 1 shop, and all priced 600% more. ($6-$30)
