Does Botox help with vulvodynia?

After a year and a half, I was finally diagnosed with localized vulvodynia. My doctor said my pain is near the vaginal opening and that my pelvic floor muscles are very tight. She also said that Botox treatment might be the best for me. I'd like to know if anyone who has had Botox treatment has had good or bad results with their vulvar pain. I'm really relieved to have a diagnosis, but at the same time, I'm afraid I'll never get better.
