Svs sb1000 pro vs. sunfire d-10 opinions

Hi everyone.

Went to a used audio shop over the weekend and saw and demoed an old sunfire d10 for a 2.1 I’m building for my computer.

It’s in a small 10x10 room in an apartment using it for music and movies.

They had the d-10 available for a decent price $400 but I was thinking of going after the svs sb1000 pro since it was only $100 more. The sunfire seemed a little old but wanted to know what other people have experienced with it. I’ve heard the player can wear out after 5 years and I have no idea how long this has been in use.
