Bluetooth remotes not working S25

So I have two bluetooth remotes they each came with a teleprompter for videography.

Just the other day I upgraded from the S21 to the S25 ultra. But now neither remote is working anymore to control the teleprompter app.

The remotes are very basic. Up, down, left, right and middle button which just acts like a screen tap.

Either are working now. One of them is detected as a text input device which its not. And the other is detected as a remote controller with a video game controller icon.

Both worked absolutely fine on the S21 but now neither work.

Ive tried going into the developer setting and changing the bluetooth version to see if that might work but to no avail.

I sadly only discovered this issue today on a video shoot and couldn't get the teleprompter to work which was pretty embarrassing.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated
