VFS global HOUSTON AUSTRIA visa

Anyone getting their visas on time? I had an appointment on Aug7 for a short stay visa and its still pending. No updates about it reaching the embassy. I have travel on the 12th, i am worried now.

Called Vfs helpline. all they could say is that they have escalated the case.

Do the statuses even update for anyone? Does the 3 week timeline work for anyone?
