MIP Frustrations

I thought one of the major reasons why MIP was so delayed was because Pi’erre said he wanted to fully flesh out the world of MIP and be able to market it correctly and finally see his vision for a project fully actualized.

It’s been 2 months + since MIP released and 2 videos have been released, SOSSBOY merch is nowhere to be found, and transitions and mixes are still messed up…

For a project that was supposed to come out March 2024 and came out June 2025, as a fan I gotta ask what the hell has been going on??

Look at this timeline:

MIP first teased with the infamous “Monogamy/Wedding Ring” croissant video September 19th, 2021 where P says it’ll drop after “Balmain” (Spotify).

“Yo!88” aka “Balmain” (Apple Music) drops December 10th, 2021.

“GM” Spotify/Apple Music] drops September 2nd, 2022.

“GRAILS” Spotify/Apple Music drops April 14th, 2023.

6 SOSSHOUSE ALBUMS DROP FROM MAY THROUGH AUGUST 2023‼️

Pi’erre produces “What It Is?!” Spotify/Apple Music for Homixide Gang which releases October 9th, 2023.

Beginning of January 2024, Pi’erre says his album MIP is finished and will be dropping March 2024. (I’m trying to find the live where he said this and am having difficulty finding it. If anyone finds it, please share.)

March 6th, 2024 MIP Live infamous incident. March 2024 comes and goes, no MIP.

The infamous month of June 2024 comes and goes. No new MIP news. Infamous because Pi’erre likes to drop in June, beginning/middle of Summer.

October 17th, 2024 MIP Live. 2024 slowly slips away with Pi’erre still previewing sounds from MIP as well as snippets from J Billz and Young Nudy.

A month later, “Sli’merre 2” Spotify/Apple Music drops November 13th, 2024.

A month later on Christmas Day 2024, Pi’erre previews the cover for MIP.

March 2025 comes and goes. Pi’erre says the delays are on him, he wants to fully flesh out the world. Says he wasn’t able to do it in 2022 with GM. He says when MIP releases it will be worth the wait because it’s the project as he truly wanted it to be. (I’m trying to find where he said this and am having difficulty. If you find it, please share.)

June 6th, 2025, “Blocs” releases… AGAIN! Spotify/Apple Music. It was first previewed fully with the video 9 months prior on September 19th, 2024!!!.

June 13th, 2025, “Pop” releases. Spotify/Apple Music. The cover art changes 1 time due to someone not wanting to be in it.

June 27th, 2025, MIP FINALLY RELEASES! Spotify/Apple Music.

After all the delays, other releases, teases from Pi’erre, the MIP project is finally out and has been out for 2 months. Mixing is sub-par, transitions are lackluster, Pi’erre takes to IG Stories to say he had to come to terms with the idea of even wanting to go back in and fixing the transitions on the album. What a slap in the face to all of us who’ve waited. Vinyl orders have now been delayed from September to December. P showed he had been working with an engineer to help fix the mix and transitions, we’ve heard nothing since. 2 videos, no other videos in sight, no SOSSBOY merch in sight, no tour scheduled, absolutely nothing.

Just sucks.
