Liver Mass

Our sweet English Bulldog (2 y/o) had emergency surgery due to a bleeding mass on her liver. They are suspecting hepatocellular carcinoma or hemangiosarcoma. I am not seeking medical advice as we have been informed how serious this is, especially if it is hemangiosarcoma. I am reaching out to see if any other dog owners have had this experience with a bulldog and/or at a young age. Most stories I read are about senior, larger breed dogs. I am at a loss at how this could have happened to our young, vibrant girl. On a more positive note, the surgery was successful and they were able to remove the entire mass. She is home now, recovering like a champ. We are grateful for any additional time we get with her.
