DC speeding ticket

I want to share what’s happening with my speeding tickets because it’s completely wrong. I bought my car,on February 24, 2024. The tickets I received are dated February 21, 2024, three days before I even owned the car. At that time, I had temporary tags, which are the same as the ones being referenced.

I have never been to DC, so I could not have received these tickets there. The photo attached to the tickets is not even my car — it’s a completely different car. I submitted my appeal with all the proof, including my bill of sale, temporary tags, and photos of my actual car, but it was denied saying it’s not a valid reason.

This is clearly a mistake, and I should not be held responsible for tickets that occurred before I owned the car. I’m sharing this so everyone understands what’s happening. And I need some advice from you guys
