It's clear some of my recent posts have confused a few people. Let's clear this up, because it's frustrating to see the service my posts offer go misunderstood. I post the usual, more mundane SCD-related content, but some of you are quick to assume that's all there is. Tell me, how does any of that general content actively help someone in the middle of a pain crisis, someone unreachable? It doesn't. How can you not understand the concept of escapism from troubling pain? I don't expect someone incapacitated by powerful medications to read anything while hospitalized. But the work is already done. My writing provides many fictional means of escape for those who need a way to battle their pain without being fully consumed by it. My writing is not here to be a textbook. My sensory-rich texts are a vehicle, a way to provide a means of escape for warriors trapped in the battle of vaso-occlusive action. My goal is to use the mind's connection to sensory immersion to offer a break. A moment to leave the pain, the stress, and the fear behind and get lost in a world that is not your own. If my content doesn't seem "relatable" to you on the surface, it's because it's not meant to be a literal retelling of your life. It's meant to be a way out. And for all the "savvy" Reddit users who immediately complain without looking, it's really not that hard to follow a post back to its origin. A little effort goes a long way.

For those of you claiming my work is "AI slop", your assumptions are a perfect example of the very obliviousness my work is meant to challenge. I use AI as a tool to help articulate content I have already written. It helps me with punctuation and comes up with illustrations. It absolutely does not write for me. In fact, as an author, I despise content written exclusively by AI. People, get real. AI isn't going anywhere. It's time to learn the difference between true AI slop and work a human has deliberately constructed and woven together using AI as a tool. I am a true artist, and I will defend my work against useless, unnecessary remarks that are so blatantly devoid of any basic merit.
