Advice needed from flight attendants!!
Can flight attendants or people from the industry give me some advice/information? I reallyyyy want to be a flight attendant, but I also want to make money. lol. However, I’m almost 20 years old, and so I can only apply to some regionals, and frontier as far as I know. None of the majors. I’ve heard many FAs say do NOT go the frontier route, and I’ve also heard many say not to go the regional route. I have been offered a recorded video interview with PSA Airlines, but I hear so much mixed information. Because of where I live, (Detroit MI area) I would have to commute. But I can’t do that while on reserve (from my understanding) so I would have to move to base. Correct? And then I could potentially be on reserve for 10 years? I just didn’t realize there would be so many cons to being a FA. Moving, iffy pay, bad schedule, etc. But I still don’t wanna give up on this dream if there’s an upside? Biggest thing for me is I don’t want to move. Unless it’s for under a year long. But it seems like you can’t know how long reserve will be?
I hope that made sense to at least someone haha. Literally any info is great! Thanks!
