Rental space for long-term woodworking projects?

I'm moving from a house to an apartment and will have no space for projects. I already have a full set of tools, I just need a little room with power where I can blow sawdust and make a mess. I know most storage units don't allow this. Makerspace sounds cool but you can't leave projects there overnight without special permission and I would be doing long term stuff like building furniture. Does anyone know of a solution to this? If not a commercial space, maybe a private party who rents out space in a big shop or barn or something? Doesn't have to be in Bellingham proper but I'd rather not drive more than 30 minutes out of town.
