Writing Music

Hi, everyone. I'm a hip hop beat maker, on fl studio. I've made quite a few tracks, with a few loops that I've put together but haven't really been able to finish a proper song structure.

For this reason, I've been meaning to get into writing music. Actually playing and building from melodies in my head and being able to arrange a song through various sections.

My issue is i have no idea how to get into the skill of actually writing music, even for other people. My brain keeps telling me it's all supposed to happen naturally???

Any suggestions or recommendations on how i can approach learning how to properly write music. Thank you!
