What other options are there to build a career than just going to college?

Hi everyone. I'm 17m currently preparing for jee but the thing is that I'm only good at maths, ok-ish in che and Suck at phy. So, I was wondering what other options do I have other than going to college if I want to build a career in embedded engineering if not that than something related to electronics.

It's not like I'm not going to prepare for jee or anything. I will try my best, might even make it. But I want to know other options too because I don't want to take a drop year.
