Processing at mission status for 8 weeks

My visa application in Los Angeles was on July 10th, and it has been nearly 8 weeks at it still says "processing at mission".

I see others on this sub have already gotten their visa and they submitted after me. What do I do? I contact BLS for updates and they're completely useless. I'm running short on time now and just want to find out what's taking so long and if anyone else is dealing with this.
