How easy is it to transfer eSIM?

Say I wish to transfer eSIM from my iPhone to a random android phone.

1 - is the process as simple and straightforward as it currently is with physical SIM (pSIM), where i just eject it and insert it into the other phone?

2 - is the transfer process exactly same for all telecom companies?

3 - will being physically present in a different country raise complications in transfer process?

Currently on my iPhone I have country A eSIM and country B pSIM. So wondering if it is wise to “upgrade” country B pSIM to eSIM.
