Does anyone else feel like you’ll never be happy until you live alone in a cottage in the middle of the forest?
I honestly live in a pretty nice place, it’s not attached to anyone else. But there are two houses on one property so the neighbors are so close and have annoying dogs that bark. Before this I’ve lived in worse situations like apartments where I can hear people all day and that drove me ever crazier.
I hate noise so much and I hate being perceived and having people so close and able to see me whenever I leave my house. It honestly makes me feel miserable and hopeless because it’s not likely to change anytime soon.
My greatest wish is to move somewhere where my neighbors are far away and I never have to hear or see them, but I live in a densely populated area right now and don’t have the means to move. I also support myself and don’t know if I can feel secure about job prospects in a more rural area.
Does anyone else feel miserable living so close to other people? Do you also want to move to the middle of the forest? Has anyone been able to find that type of living situation and is it as peaceful as I think it is?
