Remember to reverse search from time to time

My girlfriend sent me some necklace she wanted, I also picked one for me.
I noticed they mention it was Made in Portugal. Sweet.

Just before checking out, I tried image reverse searching the products and I found out it was just drop shipping from alibaba, shein, aliexpress etc...

Then I tried to google for Made in Portugal jewelry and I tell you I found ton of websites claiming Made in Portugal, when in fact it was all drop shipped.

Mind you the store I mention has a physical location.
Yesterday I created this post in a portuguese subreddit:

- I came to learn there are other stores with physical stores (one has 3, including inside of malls) that sells a 0.87€ necklace for 32€!! (check this comment in portuguese)

- Many people still believe in the comments it is not drop shipped and trust these websites.

I am all up in investing in local brands, but it shouldn't come at the cost of getting scammed.
