Frustrating Experience with JioFiber

I rarely post about poor service experiences, but this one stands out because it highlights a fundamental gap in how customer service should work.

1️⃣ On 30th August, I had a JioFiber installation scheduled. The router was installed, but the internet setup wasn’t completed. The technician assured me they’d return the next day, leaving the installation status “in progress.” 2️⃣ On 31st August, the same story repeated—but this time, the status showed “completed” even though nothing was actually resolved. I raised a service request on 31st August. It was miraculously marked “resolved” without any visit or fix. 3️⃣ On 1st September, I raised another request, flagged as an escalation. Again, it was marked “resolved” without resolution. The problem persisted—red blinking LED on the router. 4️⃣ On 2nd September, I raised a third request. This time, it kept getting rescheduled automatically, claiming I had requested the reschedule (which I hadn’t). 5️⃣ Calling the service number now only plays a pre-recorded message before disconnecting. 6️⃣ Chat support gives only automated responses with no way to reach a live agent.

At this point, I’m left with a fully paid installed router but no internet, no accountability, and no way to actually get help.

👉 Service isn’t just about selling a product - it’s about end-to-end customer experience. Your job doesn’t end after putting a router at someone’s home; it ends when you deliver on the promise that comes with it.

This is not just about my personal inconvenience - it’s about a systemic issue. If the infrastructure and support aren’t scalable, why offer the service at all?
