How does salvia tolerance work

i know for most intense drugs ive had, shrooms, lsd- that there is a tolerance effect where you cannot redose the next day expecting any to the same results. how does salvia's tolerance effect work. how soon after first consumption can you go back and feel salvia again at about the same dose. My first time smoking was kinda a bust, i want to try againnnn
