Singer 15-91 - how to rehome it?
Hello, Vintage Sewers. I am not a vintage sewer, but my husband & I find ourselves needing to rehome his grandmother's sewing machine. We don't really know the best way to do this - not sure if it's worth trying to sell or send to a consignment store (we generally don't want to deal with the hassle) or if we should just donate it to a local charity thrift store. Can you all give some advice? It's a lovely machine, and it works when plugged in, although its tabletop has scratches & waterspots and I have not tried threading it or actually sewing anything with it. We're in Austin, Texas, if that's useful. And if any of you are interested, please reach out! Thanks for any advice.
