Building Desire RM trip anticipation with AI tools!
Hey everyone! After lurking these subreddits for a good long while we're finally posting. I'm a 48M who's been married to the most amazing 48F in the entire world for more than 20 years. We decided to celebrate our 20 year anniversary by booking a trip to RM next month in October - the 13th can't come soon enough!
Both of us have to use AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude on a daily basis for work, so naturally we started using them to plan some parts of our Desire RM trip. Started with fairly benign stuff like flights, trying to get a handle on how long it would take for us to get through customs, ideas for excursions, whether it made any sense to do things off-site from the resort...but then I had an idea.
Because we were ~7 weeks out when we finally booked our flights and resort dates I wanted some way to not only build anticipation for the trip, but also help us think through some of the choices that we might be presented with. We are not LS, have never been to a LS club or anything adjacent, and don't have any intention of sharing - but we are definitely interested in the idea of public play / watching / being watched.
After reading countless posters in our same basic boat discuss the need for a very healthy amount of discussion in advance about boundaries it seemed like the first thing we could do is actually think through together some of the activity choices we will be presented with, which naturally would open up discussion about what both of us are and are not comfortable within the activities.
Enter: Choose Your Own Adventure: Desire RM Edition
I took all of the details of our trip, who we are, what we like, what our current boundaries are, when we're landing, how long we're staying, what the fetish nights are during our dates, and fed all of that into ChatGPT. Then I gave it a basic prompt of for progessing the story - based on the activites, restaurants and options that I either trained it to know or it already knew about Desire:
Prompt: Build a Choose Your Own Adventure Game to help us think through the activity options we will have for each day of our trip. List our choices alphanumerically A, B, C etc. Once the choice has been made, give a narrative of the experience: what we chose, how we're feeling, what's going on at the resort, etc
*Editors note: Started this project w/ ChatGPT but moved it over to Claude. GPT5 is...not great
From there I got prompted for the first choice - what we do once we get to the actual resort:

This one really gets into the meat of what we needed to think and talk through as a couple. We're obviously both enticed by this environment, but this will absolutley be our first actually time being in it. So having this Choose Your Own Aventure walkthrough - which we did for every single day of our trip - allowed us to have a ton of really helpful conversations.
We want to enjoy each other, we want to have fun in a new place, and we want to be in an environment with a bunch of people who are generally on the same wavelength as us. But we do not want to cause any kind of irreversible damage to our relationship - and as stupid as it sounds going through this Choose Your Own Adventure process of walking through our trip really helped us think through at least some of the things we're going to have to consider.
Certainly real life is going to be different! But we now feel like we've done some amount of prep work for what we're going to see and do.

BONUS: If you were to do this in ChatGPT you can also have it create a "storybook" of your trip. What I did is feed it a picture of us in real life, then told it to generate additional pictures of us at each decision point in a cartoon style. Once it generated all of the images of us at each choice, you can then have it compile them into a story book where each page is both the image from the decision and the narrative of what you're doing, what it lead to, etc. You're going to possibly run into some content policy violations once you get to the playroom - bikini's are ok, lingerie is not - but who cares.
It's definitely the silliest / most ridiculous thing I've used ChatGPT for...but it's also kind of cute and I kind of love it.
