Providing feedback in open office plan
Leadership advice often advises managers to provide feedback as close to the incident as feasible. What strategies are we using when the team works in an open office plan? I have a private office but “getting called in” to the managers offices has a negative connotation around here. I don’t want to save all my negative feedback for 1:1s, but I also don’t want to give negative feedback where their peers are listening right next to them.
Thoughts?
