Blown head gasket/ burning oil full engine tear out 08 type s

Made up my mind and I’m gonna keep her, just starting to begin taking notes on what I need I already swapped this engine before but now I want to rebuild it.

Planning on sending block to the machine shop and resealing everything myself what’s the best kit for peace of mind if I’m tackling this project ? Should I go all oem will that get $$$

I already replaced everything except the trans so when I rebuild this engine the waterpump/timing belt/ alternator/ radiator/ and few other things are taken care of so I’m just worried about what Ill need for the actual engine.

doing this because the car has been burning oil badly smoking out of the exhaust, loss of power and weak acceleration. Had rich codes for a while and got burbles/pops from the engine out of nowhere. Overheated a couple times over the summer and I think that’s what did it. Misfiring crazy now and it’s been sitting while I debate saving her or getting a new car. But I think imma go through with it I already swapped the motor once shouldn’t be that bad.
