Honor 200 Pro update problems

I just bought an Honor 200 Pro from a refurbished phone site. The phone is immaculate, new, without any marks, and works great. The biggest problem is that it won't update. It comes with MagicOS 8 and Android 14, and there's no way to update it; it tells me it's the latest update available. Before returning it, I'd like to know if anyone knows a way to get the updates to work. I've tried "Test Updates," tried both Wi-Fi and mobile data, cleared the cache in the update options, and so on. Nothing works. I hope someone can help.
