New update thoughts

Gotta say I’ve been having a good time with the new update so far. I’m on pc and have had no performance issues whatsoever, so I guess I’m one of the lucky ones. The new bugs are definitely an interesting addition and a new challenge. While you do not need medium pen weapons to kill them I would highly recommend using something like the arc blitzer or the slugger. I do enjoy how the cave missions encourage you to use stratagems that are not widely used other wise. I ran a game with ballistic shield and crossbow, it was very fun overall. One thing I will say is that the new warriors wich have now become notorious for their burrow attack do feel a little bit off. Like not difficult mind you but just weird sometimes, Sometimes they get me but other times they get my slugger to the face before I get hit. I would just like to see some more consistency if anything really. Also love the gator vehicle concept, but good lord I feel like a sitting duck in that thing when solo. Spore lung mission was enjoyable, be careful about hell bomb placement because it does matter, ideally get it as close to the actual lung as possible. I took a recon vehicle in the caves with my hell bomb and earned my self a spot in the wall of martyrs. Overall while I do agree that there is some room for improvement with the new mission types. I do not believe that there should be any massive changes when it comes to enemy balancing. There certainly are tools available to deal with the new bugs. Except them bile titan holes underground GL with those if you don’t have ultimatum. Have not managed to kill the hive lord yet but it definitely has killed me many times but I mostly just laugh it off. Reminds me of the good ole days getting flung by giants in Skyrim. Oh speaking of Skyrim them dragon roaches can be something fierce if you don’t take em seriously. The fire proof armor definitely helps to reduce the damage. A bit hard to dodge because the actual animation is smaller than the hit box.

TLDR Good update in terms of content, most definitely need some bugs fixed for the people having performance issues (looking at you pelican 1) Hoping the warriors get more consistency and that hosting issues are fixed. Maybe no titan holes in the caves? Overall had a blast. I’ll see you divers in the caves.
