Ds160 form changes on OFC

Has anyone ever made 1 or 2 errors while filling the initial ds160. But then by luck got immediate appointment in 2-3 months. And had to submit a second ds-160 with corrections. And submit both on OFC day. And successfully got through Consular interviews anyway? How does your application number get reflected on consular interview appointment page since it's already prebooked ?
