Does ETF apply if I cancel a renewal plan before it starts?
Hello Houston,
I got suckered by a renewal rep from Gexa while I was driving. She made it sound like I'll save money over my current expiring plan and that I must lock in or else I'd lose out on this amazing offer (13.3 cents for 500 kWh, 16.47 cents energy charge, $50.00 usage credit for >=500 kWh, $4.90 flat TDU charge, 5.8104 cents per kWh TDU charge). I realized after doing the math of my prior electricity usage that I'll actually be paying more...
My plan expires in ~60 days. The renewal is for after that. Would I be penalized if I cancel that renewal and switch to another company? I tried looking everywhere for information about it and I'm trying really hard to avoid the hassle of calling Gexa without any information because I know for sure they'll do their best to delay and sucker me again. Can someone with experience pleaseeee give me their insights?
Please.
