Jezus Christ, was life without social media genuinely easier, or is that just my assumption?
Soo... to make sure, I am younger gen z, but I was never 'tuned' as and aware of maybe some idk, jokes, schticks, trends. For example, up, until this year, I've never really used that much Snapchat, hell, I've started using Instagram and Tiktok only this/last year, which idk, maybe I've missed out on something. But Jeezus, I feel consantly f*cking tired to have the conversation turn around sh*tty, scabby bots, if I try to write gramatically correct and don't use, idk, trendy, net friendy abbreviations, I'm automatically labeled as a bot ( I've had tvo assumptions bcus of that up till now ), idk, if I just try to be somewhat friendly, positive, I get labeled as a bot. And that is just the tip of a gigantic social media iceberg, not to mention all the lack of, auntheticity, genuiness... just, everything is... fake, everyone is searching for validation, you have to rlly dig deeper to find some soc. media acts who genuinely care about their community or fans and who post their real life situations, I am just really f*cking tired of that, I really hate, and strive to not use this term, but sometimes, I just feel like I was being born in the wrong time and reaaallly romanticise about past times
