Why do YOU kayak?

Sorry if this has ever been asked but I'm really curious, what makes you love kayaking? Why do you continue to go out over and over again?

Me, I grew up between the ocean and lakes (NJ) and have been in or on the water literally my entire life. I couldn't imagine not. I fell in love with kayaking because it's something I can physically handle and I get to enjoy being on the water. I find it very healing.

I also do it to watch the wildlife.
