What will happen if I tell Mormon missionaries that I'm not interested in being a member anymore?

So I've been speaking to these missionaries for the past few weeks now and have been going to their church services and Bible studies. A friend of mine had the missionaries contact me and at first it seemed appealing, especially as an ex Christian who grew up being afraid of eternal damnation, and seeing that the Mormons don't threaten you with hell if you don't convert.

However as I am spending more time with them I'm starting to lose interest. The religion itself is starting to come across as really dogmatic and it's throwing me off. When I got to their church I feel like I don't fit in, like I don't belong there. I'm starting to see that I don't need to conform or comply to any religious doctrine to have a relationship with the divine, so why am I doing this?

I've heard that Mormons can also be very manipulative and persuasive so I'm curious to know what would happen if I told them that I'm no longer interested in being a member.
