Need advice haven't bought a home yet but wife and I are looking

So as the title says I need advice if it matters I live in the salem oregon area and me and my wife are looking to buy probably with an fha if possible the issues I have is both our credits are bad (under 600) and not sure if we'd even be accepted for one if you think we would be can some one help me with the best loan they think I could get with the lowest down.
