not to be that guy, but...

I’ve honestly been really impressed with the moves tnt’s been making lately. I’m kind of an on-and-off player since like ?2003?, hopped back on most recently around jan/feb this year I think, and for a while it felt like things were just stagnant. grindy. y'all know. all the color gone, the “clickable” cup, the random “unscheduled maintenance,” and the long stretches of silence, I have been just kind of going through the motions customizing my pets, mainly. but the past month or so has actually gotten me excited again like things are picking back up.

it feels like kind of started with the plot coming back, though my timeline might be off. I signed up for premium right before all the ads came back and almost canceled a few times, but now I’m glad I didn’t. at this point I just think of it as a donation towards something I like that I happen to have whatever $8 a month for, and it’s nice to feel like it’s actually going toward new content. the html conversions have been awesome (so many cool np items finally coming out of the shadows), and I really like that they’re doing community surveys and responding to feedback, especially responding to heavier stuff like the transphobia on the boards. sure it may have taken awhile but ~ as a trans ~ it's more than I've really seen anywhere else ever. the JN interview with Dom was pretty cool too, and FINALLY releasing capsule drop rates.

adjusting to the inflation has been a bit of a shock, but I do think they’re making the best of it, keeping items accessible through prize pool updates, battledome releases, etc

NOTE: obviously there’s still plenty of room for improvement that I definitely left some ...blunt... feedback on the last survey, but that’s another conversation. for now I’m just happy to see some progress on the site again!!
