Is Doctor Who still popular with kids?

Like genuine, honest to god question. See I have not been a child in many moons, and so most (realistically all) my interactions with the doctor who fandom is with the older fans and fans around my age who, like me, grew up with the show

And I was having a conversation with my friend where he said he honestly had his doubts doctor who was still big with kids and it occurred to me as he said it, I honestly wasn’t sure I could refute that?

Please tell me doctor who still has a big demographic with kids and that I’m not just severely out of touch
