I gave one of my exes a rosary and now God is hunting me with signs

It was cute, i loved him idk abt him, at some point i gave him a rosary, he said it was his most favorite gift in the world. He felt like it would protect him eternally and then we stopped talking and he still had it in his wall. Now we don't talk, but God has been haunting me with signs and i feel like i'm gonna go in a psychosis real soon. I'm quite scared. He pops up in dreams, his name everywhere, and idk if he's the one or God is reminding me not to go back.
