pls pls help me: since I increased Seroquel, I feel less anxious, more confidend- but are getting in fights with people. why?
Hi you beautiful souls,
I really need help and beg you, if anyone knows what could that be, pls answer.
I changed medication and now I feel less anxious, but have fights with people. fights I didnt intend. what could it be?
I have AuDHD and take 50mg Vyvanse. plus 50mg Seroquel and 87,5mg Venlafaxine. Bith, the Venla and the Seroquel, are the rest of a misdiagnose bipolar I had over a decade. But I've been slowly tapering off the medication for years. I've been on 150mg venlafaxine and 150mg seroquel. With the current combination of 50mg Vyvanse, 50mg Seroquel, and 87.5mg venlafaxine, I've been stable for six months. But I'm a very anxious person. A few days ago, I wanted to sleep because I had an early appointment, so I increased the Seroquel to 100mg. The next day, I felt sooo good. Rested, and I didn't care about anything anymore, in a pleasant way. I no longer had the urge to people-please; other people's opinions were no longer so important to me. So, I stuck with it. Fast forward four days later, to today, and I've noticed: I've been getting into arguments with people, I'm getting more worked up about things, and I'm more confident in speaking my mind, so to speak. That sounds good at first. However, a huge success for me back then, when I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2023 and started taking Vyvanse, was that I became calmer. That I no longer got worked up about things, especially at work. This had always caused me so many problems in my interactions with others when I insisted on my opinion or pointed out others' mistakes. In total, there were four incidents in those four days: 1. My girlfriend responded very briefly to a voice message from me in which I told her that she probably underestimated me and that I wouldn't show my chaotic side so openly in the future, and then didn't respond at all. 2. I suspect my husband that the new TV program might trigger his previous addiction and address it. I also want to exercise more control over his finances. 3. My overworked colleague said she found my messages accusatory and out of control, which I hadn't seen at all. A colleague didn't accept my opinion on a joint project—albeit a part for which he is currently solely responsible—as I had hoped and wants to stick to his approach. I presented arguments and was about to write to him, saying he's welcome to do it alone. I also suspect that he doesn't trust me because he only told four colleagues about something, but not me. I was about to bring it up, but managed to stop myself.
pls help, why is this and what can I do? I felt so good with myself with the 100mg seroquel. but obviously others dont 😭😭
