UGC question

I am somewhat new to this, and dont want to sound dumb. I downloaded a gameboy color handheld and put the downloaded model into UGC file, do i also need to add a file to games called Gameboy Color and install the model there as well then use the games scanner or is there something else I need to do? When I enter the game I see ugc props and consoles and things, but I dont see a Gameboy anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.
