Thanks for giving my post a click, I'm glad to see the title caught your attention! As you've probably gathered, **I'm looking for a GM for a long-term fantasy, sci-fi, or apocalyptic setting roleplay**. (Although I may be open to others, I'll focus on those three for this advert! Just in case for anyone coming across my advert unfamiliar with the term, 'GM' means Game Master which is someone who essentially takes over the world. Akin to a DM/Dungeon master from Dungeons and Dragons.

***Fantasy***

When it comes to high fantasy, I'm looking for a world filled with magic, beasts of fantastical nature, multiple races/species, and much more! Think of it akin to your typical DnD game, while some elements can get dark and serious, there is usually a more optimistic tone much of the time. Otherwise, I'm generally open to anything. From a light hearted and episodic nature, to something with moments of dimness and darkness!

When it comes to dark fantasy, I'm looking for a world filled with danger, where magic is often considered taboo in many places and harbors secrets that can twist and corrupt. Where countries that do practice it, are often conquerors and monsters. Where the villain wins and there is little many can do about it. A setting where every good deed, no matter how small, counts all that much more.

***Sci-fi***

When it comes to sci-fi, I generally love most/all forms of it! But if I were to list some favorites off the top of my head they would be:

\- Sci-fi fantasy. A nice blend between sci-fi and fantasy. Technology and magic can at times even be interwoven together. Some examples akin to it would be Star Wars and The Sun Eater Saga.

\- Typical sci-fi. Heavy on tech and space travel, humans have colonies everywhere, and depending on things aliens are common as well, governments can vary from galactic quadrants/systems to planet by planet. Some examples akin would be: The Expanse, Star Trek, and others!

\- Cyberpunk. Practically all human, sometimes contained only to earth, sometimes expansive out into space. Heavy use of body augmentation with machines, everything is linked, very dystopian. Examples include Cyberpunk 2077/Edge runners, Altered Carbon, Blade runner, and more!

\- And of course I'm open to others that don't fit those general three!

***Apocalypse***

When it comes to the apocalypse, there are plenty of flavors to choose from, though I'm open to nearly anything, I'd love to toss out a couple favorites of mine and see!

\- Post nuclear war/fallout and wastelands are always a favorite!

\- The undead is a classic.

\- Loss of technology, can't go wrong with it!

I'm sure there are plenty others, but I'm generally open to anything. From a light hearted and episodic nature, to something dim, dark, and an ever growing plot. We can always chat more about it in DMs!

***Character wise***, while my post has the M/Fu tag, there's a specific aspect I'm seeking if possible for my primary character, which would involve me writing both a father (M) and daughter (Fu) as my primary characters, however if you'd prefer I stick with one or the other (or just prefer I keep to one character)

While I'm happy to dial it down to just one if needed, I'm more so seeking a writing partner that would be down for this aspect! Specifically for the father and daughter, I'm seeking for her to be born and aged up in the roleplay via timeskips and the like, as I adore watching a character's story go from birth to full on! Besides, then it adds more to his story changing how she adapts and grows up, her personality, etc!

***What do I bring to the table?***

The first thing is that I can match most post lengths towards the advanced literate and even novella end! Though ideally I prefer to keep most of my replies around 3-4 paragraphs. Of course all scenes don't require the same amount, and I'm happy to adjust to preferences!

The second is years of writing experience! While I may not be a New York Times #1 best seller, I've always liked to believe that I have a fair grasp in writing. Like anyone, I'm bound to make a typo here or mistake there, but nothing that would hinder my replies much! I generally write around 3-4 paragraphs on average for ease, but can happily do advanced literate and even novella if the scene calls for it! More often than not, most post length tends to adapt to my partner's and the scene! (Feel free to ask for a writing sample!)

The third and entirely optional one is a love for chatting OOC! Whether you're the type to prefer talking strictly about roleplay, or you want to go over every little detail about how our day went, I'm always down to chat and am an open book!
