To those who still make an effort

I'm not sure where to post this but dating seemed the most appropriate sub. I was asked out today. It was unexpected as I was just going about my day looking like a hot mess. I said thank you and told him I was already taken. He seemed genuine and nervous and he took the rejection well. Anyway I'm happily married with a child. My husband made an effort when it was his time and we are now married a decade. I know it can be a challenge to ask someone out these days. I wanted to say kudos to those who still try and make an effort I really hope you find your One. May you get your Happily ever after. Happy dating!
